The Mission

The mission of the See You Later Military Project is to honor those who served, remember those we have lost, and use the power of music, merchandise, and community to support veterans, service members, and military families.

What began as six words written by my dad, Tom Kalchthaler, has grown into something much bigger than a song. It has become a family mission rooted in love, remembrance, gratitude, and the desire to give back to the military community.

For our family, this is deeply personal. This project honors my grandfather, my uncle, my cousins, and every man and woman who has served our country. It also honors the families who stand beside them: the ones who wait, worry, pray, miss them, and carry their memory forward.

At the heart of this mission is a commitment to action.

We are currently in the process of establishing a nonprofit organization to support and expand this mission. Our goal is to build something lasting that not only honors service and sacrifice, but also creates meaningful support for military-focused causes.

As part of that commitment, we will donate 90% of net profits from merchandise sales, music streams, royalties, and related project revenue to military organizations chosen by this community.

Our hope is that this project becomes more than a song and more than a store. We want it to become a movement of remembrance, gratitude, and giving: one that brings people together to honor our heroes and help direct support where it is needed most.

Every purchase, stream, share, and donation helps move this mission forward.

When you support the See You Later Military Project, you are helping us:

  • Honor the service and sacrifice of our military heroes

  • Remember loved ones who served and those we have lost

  • Share a message of love, hope, and remembrance

  • Build a community centered on gratitude and giving back

  • Help support military organizations chosen by the people who believe in this mission

This mission is for my grandfather.
It is for my uncle.
It is for my cousins.
It is for every veteran.
It is for every active-duty service member.
It is for every military family.
And it is for every person who understands that freedom is not free.

Thank you for being part of this mission and helping us carry it forward.

“See you later on your lips” is more than a lyric.
It is a tribute.
It is a promise.
It is our mission.
